Itinerary:

Among the paved streets and the ancient large houses of the period, we will begin our visit in the Hatunrumiyoc street, with impressive walls made of polygonal stones that belong to what is now the Arzobispal Palace, a large house, exquisitely built in the district, and whose adjacent wall shows the much-touted twelve-angles stone, magnificently embedded in the wall, with perfect joints. We will continue our walk a few meters higher, towards the small San Blas square, in the much-touted artists area in Cusco, in which we will appreciate the exquisite artisanal exhibition of paintings, ceramics, silversmith's, and imagery from the workshops. We will visit the temple of the district, one of the most ancient of the city. We will then go back to the Plaza de Armas via a narrow street, walking between balconies and finely worked-on cornices, as far as the main church of Cusco, the Cathedral, where we will appreciate the impressive work of the silversmith's, wood and gold leaf artists of the period. We will then enjoy ourselves with the monumental colonial paintings that contain extensive Inca iconography. In the east of the Plaza de Armas, we will see Loreto street, which holds across its entire length the most beautiful Inca walls, architecturally speaking. After seeing this traditional street, we will arrive at the much-touted Koricancha , also known as the Temple of the Sun, on the bases of which was built theSanto Domingo Convent, which has one of the most beautiful towers in the city, with its whimsical style.
We will continue our visite through San Francisco square, and its impressive Roman arch, that joins the Santa Claraboulevard, with monumental buildings by its sides. We will then arrive at the Traditional Market of San Pedro, designed by Eiffel. This is one of the most ancient and vibrating places, in which you can see for yourself how the locals live. This is a mere example of the local peculiarity; listening to the Quechua language correctly spoken and pronounced, seeing the common gestures and habits of the Andean culture, smelling the aroma of the products that are usually sold there, observing the fruits, vegetables, meats and hundreds of colorful products that constitute the main basic foodstuff of the traditional food, savoring the local delicacies such as fruit juices and traditional desserts, seeing the styles and textures of the local fashion... They are all pleasant and constitute an unforgettable experience. Trip back to the hotel.
